Monsanto: The World’s Most Evil Company?

April 15, 2008

I blogged a couple days ago that Monsanto is “ethically bankrupt.” A new investigative article published by Vanity Fair makes me realize I was guilty of understatement. The article tracks the company’s history, and its efforts to take over key parts of the seed, herbicide, and dairy industries. What we see is a pattern of action where the company uses its vast resources to crush anyone who speaks out against it.

Put another way, Monsanto is such an unscrupulous company that they are capable of making dairy farmers look like the good guys by comparison. And that by itself says everything you need to know. Link.
