Here’s an odd but amusing New York Times story on recipe deal breakers: techniques or ingredients that are so intimidating that anyone with sanity would abandon the thought of making the recipe right then and there.

This piece reveals yet another advantage of being a vegan chef: you’ll never encounter a recipe calling for two quarts of pigs’ blood. Link.
