Here’s an interesting difference between the USA and Brazil. In the USA, in any vast area of protected parkland, there are often people planting large tracts with marijuana plants. In Brazil, there are often ranchers illegally grazing thousands of cattle.
Turns out these outlaw ranchers are a primary reason for rainforest destruction in Brazil. But now, the government’s fighting back. They’re seizing these cattle, killing them, then donating the meat to the poor. Link.
