Help AmEx Award Funding to Vat Meat

August 26, 2008

Got an American Express card and want to make a difference? Nicholas Genovese has started a Members Project by which AmEx cardholders can vote to award funding to vat meat research. I covered the promise of vat meat a few years ago in a podcast, and I’m convinced that scientific research could rapidly propel vat meat toward commercial viability — sparing billions of animals from the ordeal of factory farms and slaughter. So, if you have an American Express card, please visit the Members Project page for this initiative. In order to receive funding, this project needs to rank among AmEx’s top five vote recipients. After reviewing the details and communicating with the organizer I think this project has a real chance to win funding. Link.
