One month ago, regarding Agriprocessors, I wrote, “You get the sense that the bad news for the company has only just begun.”
Well, PETA has just released yet another undercover investigation of Agriprocessors. Of interest here is that the method Agriprocessors uses to kill the animals is more cruel than what they showed when they took a bunch of rabbis and journalists on tour. Surprise, surprise.
As slaughterhouse designer and industry consultant Dr. Temple Grandin put it: “The undercover video clearly showed that when they think nobody is looking, they do bad things in this plant.” Link.
