Compassionate Action for Animals

October 2, 2008

Here’s a neat article about the efforts of one of my favorite regional groups, Minnesota’s Compassionate Action for Animals. This article gets into the various projects the group is carrying out during the fall semester: a free food giveaway, heavy leafletting, and publicizing veggie dining information to the community.

Every city needs an organization that takes on projects like these, but I think there are probably fewer than a dozen cities in the USA with comparable activism occurring. This article does a great job of showing the simple projects any person or group become involved with that will dramatically raise a city’s vegetarian profile. Link.
