This LA Times article came out November 10, but I didn’t see it until today. Its headline asks: “Is red meat’s bad name justified?”
And the answer seems to be a resounding Yes. After exploring the link between red meat and breast cancer, the article continues:
Add the numerous studies linking red meat to other cancers, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes and even Alzheimer’s disease, and it sounds like the hamburger you had for lunch might as well have been laced with rat poison.
I don’t think that’s fair to rat poison. Link.
