The Des Moines Register just ran a profile of some of the mentally disabled men who labored for Henry’s Turkey Service. It seems as though they had no idea they were being taken advantage of. Link.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the “bunkhouse” in which the men lived had boarded up windows and no working heat. From the sound of things, I bet there are going to be some new and deeply disturbing revelations that come to light within the next month. Both the Department of Justice and the FBI are investigating. Link.
