26 Percent of Americans Cutting Back on Meat

The meat industry isn’t going to like the results of a new study [pdf link] published by Cultivate Research.

They found just 1 percent of Americans said they never eat meat. But 26 percent say they’re eating less meat than they used to, while 9 percent say they’re eating more.

The company’s report predicts that even more people will cut back on their meat consumption as health and environmental concerns get ingrained in the public consciousness. Link.
