UK’s Farming Minister a Vegetarian

Jim Fitzpatrick, the UK’s new Farming Minister — the guy responsible for overseeing a turnaround in Britain’s declining meat industry — is a vegetarian who opposes hunting. And if that’s not enough, consider this: Fitzpatrick’s boss, Hilary Benn, is a vegetarian as well.

I’m sure Britain’s meat industry is feeling pretty much the way vegans would feel if Paula Deen was put in charge of Vegan Outreach. (Via Klosterhalfen). Link.
