Here’s a great Associated Press article that offers fresh coverage of the egg industry’s efforts to disembowel Prop 2.
The industry denies rumors that, to deal with new space requirements, they’re trying to breed hens with shorter wings. I’d love to find out where this rumor came from. It sure has a ring of truth, given factory farming’s long history of slimy behavior. (Via Shapiro). Link.
