This is disgusting: possibly the sleaziest bill ever sponsored by agribusiness. Factory farmers in Michigan are trying to give an industry-packed council exclusive power to determine cruelty standards on farms. If that happens, it’ll be anything goes when it comes to farmed animal cruelty in Michigan.
