Taxpayer Dollars Pay for Meat Research Center

The federal government has just kicked in $300,000 to fund a Wisconsin meat research center that will focus on developing new types of sausage and cured meats.

Because why should the costs of developing unhealthful new foods be borne by the meat industry? This is obviously an expense the taxpayer should shoulder. Link.
