A couple weeks ago, Vegan.com was down for about twelve hours over a three day period. I vowed then to move to a more reliable level of hosting, and I’m happy to say that this is the first post on our new server. It’s already clear the site loads far more snappily, and from now on I expect our uptime to be virtually 100 percent.
A big thank you to my good friend Joshua Warchol for giving up part of his weekend to handle the migration tasks. For the past five years, Joshua’s been my go-to guy for every serious technical issue I’ve faced while running Vegan.com.
People with highly specialized skills often have unique opportunities to make enormous contributions to animal protection. There is no way that Vegan.com could exist today in its present form without Joshua’s generous help.
