When you think of high school vending machines you probably think of soda, slim jims, potato chips, and candy. But an Ohio high school just installed a vending machine selling, “baby carrots.” And happily, students are actually making purchases.
I could see why this sort of machine could succeed, since they provide an alternative to disgusting cafeteria food or nutritionally empty candy bars. Let’s hope this catches on in schools around the United States. (Thanks, Marty.) Link.
