How to Cook Everything Vegetarian: There’s an App for That

Mark Bittman’s classic How to Cook Everything Vegetarian has just hit the iTunes store, and is up for sale at the ridiculously low price of $4.99. Considering this app has 2000 recipes, many of which are vegan, that’s a hell of a deal.

Unlike the dead tree version, you can instantly find recipes based on ingredients or cooking styles, and the app will even spit out a shopping list for your meal.

I would love to see Robin Robertson’s 1,000 Vegan Recipes get similar treatment. I don’t see any reason why this couldn’t happen, especially since both books are published by Wiley.
