Some days it feels like the Huffington Post will publish anything by anyone. Here’s a vacuous article on the ethics of fur by Jennifer Grayson. The subject of animal cruelty gets just one sentence. And, apparently, unless your life is environmentally pure on every other front, there’s no compelling reason to avoid fur. I’m so tired of people who use all-or-nothing thinking as an excuse to avoid taking simple steps that make a tangible difference towards improving the world.
I wonder if Grayson could possibly be that annoying in real life. My guess is yes, since she’s apparently devoting her career to peddling this brand of half-assed ill-informed environmental advice. Link.
