When Fast Food Franchises Fail…

You know the only thing that makes me happier than a fast food franchise going out of business? It’s when the person who buys the building makes only token efforts to disguise the corpse, and the erstwhile Taco Bell, Long John Silver’s, or KFC is turned into a flower shop.

This collection of such photos is surprisingly addictive. It starts off with a bang: a Pizza Hut converted to a “Chinese Hut.” But my favorite by far is the chiropractor who bought a failed KFC — and didn’t bother to take down the bucket-bearing sign. Link.
