There are a million and one vegan food blogs out there, but PinkVegan is special. That’s because it has set the insane goal to cook and blog every last recipe from Tal Ronnen’s The Conscious Cook and Colleen Patrick Goudreau’s The Vegan Table.
To me, the existence of PinkVegan elevates the Ronnen and Goudreau books to must-haves, since, when this blog is completed, you’ll have a free resource enabling you to scroll through and see write-ups and photos for every last dish from these books. What’s more, the blog will categorize each recipe as either, “Made the Cut” or “Missed the Cut.”
This is way too cool—deranged, absolutely—but also brilliant, ambitious, and super useful. I’d love to see all the top vegan cookbooks blogged in their entirety, accompanied by photos and hit-or-miss recipe categorization. Link.
