Yesterday I blogged about Nicholas Genovese, a researcher funded by PETA who is working out of the University of Missouri to develop lab cultured meat. Turns out that earlier this month, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that some agribusiness people (rightfully) see Genovese’s work as a threat, and are griping over his presence on campus.
"Let me tell you," said Blake Hurst, president of the Missouri Farm Bureau, "my farmer friends are exercised."
My vegan friends are delighted.
