Mass Bird Deaths: The USDA Did it

The latest mystery surrounding sudden bird die-offs has been solved: turns out the USDA poisoned hundreds of starlings in South Dakota, at the behest of a cattle feedlot. Does this explain the other cases from this past month as well?

A USDA biologist says: “Lethal means are always a last resort. In this situation it’s what we had to do”

No doubt. I’m sure they didn’t have a single other option.
