NPR Lauds New Vegan Cookbook

This is very cool: NPR just named a vegan cookbook one of the eleven best cookbooks of the year. And it’s not any of the usual suspects either: it’s a title I’d never before heard of called Clean Food. That’s a great angle—the connections between shit and meat and pus and milk are something that needs to be overtly discussed, with a positive alternative presented.

This may be why NPR says Clean Food has “crossover appeal.” Link. (Thanks, Lindsey.)
