Twilight for Twinkies

As Americans look to make somewhat less idiotic food choices, Hostess Brands and their portfolio of products—Twinkies, Ding Dongs, and those ungodly pink Sno Balls—have been taking a beating. The company lost $144 million in 2008 and just spent four years in bankruptcy. has a great article about Hostess’ turnaround plans that basically concludes that the company’s core products have become a liability.
