One of my favorite vegan cookbook authors, Robin Robertson, just signed a book deal for a new vegan slow-cooker cookbook. I can’t wait to pick up this title. A Thai eggplant/potato dish is simmering in my slow-cooker as I write this, and regard a cheap slow-cooker as among the most useful kitchen appliances you can own. It’s also by far the easiest way to I know of to reduce your food bill without having to spend serious time in the kitchen.
