September’s only halfway over, but there have already been three great looking vegan cookbooks released this month. I’ve got a copy of Christy Morgan’s Blissful Bites, and it’s one of the nicest cookbooks I’ve seen in years; it’s a beautifully done book with gorgeous full-color photos on every page. Bestselling vegan author Brendan Brazier’s Thrive Foods is likewise off to a strong start; Brendan’s known for ultra-healthy vegan eating for the sake of maximizing athletic performance, and the recipes here are by some of the top chefs and restaurants in the vegan world. Finally, Big Vegan lives up to its title, weighing in at over 500 pages. The author’s statement on Amazon.com makes it abundantly clear that she’s an excellent writer who is passionate about teaching the nuances of upscale vegan cooking.
If you’re looking for a new vegan cookbook, you can’t go wrong with any of these.
