Since Vegan.com now offers full feeds, and it’s possible to get most of our content without visiting the site, I’ll be including one advertising blog entry per week. This is it.
We’ve made some huge improvements to the site over the past few days. I licensed this great new template which I think makes the site look better than ever. I’ve included a handy link to view our podcast archives (the View Episodes link) beneath the VegTalk Podcast heading. And I also installed a great little java player so you can listen to any episode straight from our front page or archives.
Unfortunately, one of the things that got lost in switching to this new template is that our current Amazon links aren’t generating any traffic to speak of. I’ll try to improve things but in the mean time I want to remind everyone that anytime you follow a Vegan.com link to Amazon, the site gets a percentage of all your purchases…and that really makes the difference in how much energy I can commit to creating blog and podcast content and dreaming up further website improvements.
If you’re in the market for a great vegan cookbook and haven’t yet picked up Veganomicon, you’re missing out. And don’t forget about Robin Robertson’s latest and greatest: Vegan Fire & Spice. I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
